Haas Automation offers a wide range of 5-axis VMCs – one just right to meet the demands of your machine shop.

Many industries today, especially in the high-tech world of aerospace and automotive design, are turning to 5-axis machining as a means to speed manufacturing ability and increase repeatable accuracy. The ability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles in a single setup reduces tooling cost and labor time, resulting in a better cost per part, in addition to maintaining parts conformity throughout the part run.

For 5-axis work that requires a dual-axis spindle, Haas Automation offers the shop-proven VR series, with two choices of xyz travels:

VR-8: 64" x 40" x 30"
VR-11: 120" x 40" x 30"

The Haas TR Series of trunnion VMCs provide full simultaneous 5-axis motion, or can position a workpiece to almost any angle for 5-side machining. The VF-2TR features a trunnion table mounted to the standard T-slot table; it can be removed for 3-axis work. The VF-5TR and VF-6TR have a dual-axis trunnion table in place of the standard T-slot table; they are available in either 40- or 50-taper configuration.

VF-2TR: 30" x 16" x 20"
VF-5TR: 38" x 26" x 25"
VF-6TR: 64" x 32" x 30".
