“We’re doing more and more 5-sided work, where we use the Haas trunnion rotary tables. We love the trunnion tables! They’re easy to program – almost as easy as a regular 2D or 3D mill. We’re very happy with them. We also bought one of the Haas tilting 5C collet servo rotary heads, so we can produce small parts using 5 axes.”
“The main reason for buying [Haas] was to machine faster and more efficiently to support our existing contracts, so we decided to go with 4th- and 5th-axis rotaries and trunnions. With the high-speed Haas equipment, especially the DS-30SSY turning center, we are much more competitive.”
Lawrence Factor Inc.
“As shops go, we’re small, and every turn of the spindle must make us money. The Haas machines are not only quicker, they’re a lot easier to set up. Last year, using other machines, we made about 100,000 parts running double shifts. This year, with the Haas machines, we’re able to make 90,000 parts running just a single shift – almost the same production in half the time.”
“[Haas machines] are just wonderful to operate, and we’ve found that everybody in each department has discovered different ways to utilize their capabilities. We can program a lot faster, and run parts faster, and the accuracy of the machines is just phenomenal. We can hold a lot tighter tolerances.”
“I have no hesitation about choosing Haas again. They’re versatile, reliable, great value for money, and easy to use. They’re the right tools for the job.”

“We are pretty impressed with the [Haas] machines. They are very reasonably priced, rugged, dependable, handle tight tolerances, and they do the job well. I especially like that they are very easy to use, with an easy-to-understand control. They are great products, and incredibly competitively priced – with terrific service!”
“I chose Haas machines because they were not only easy to operate, but they were very easy to maintain. Our local dealer is responsive to our service needs, and we’ve had no real problems with any of these machines. They are well built, and very stable.”

For holding medium to large parts or fixtures, the HRT series of T-slotted rotary tables is the answer. Available in sizes from 160 mm to 600 mm, these rugged, heavy-duty tables can be mounted vertically or horizontally for added versatility. Chucks and fixtures can easily be bolted to the table using the six precision T-slots, and large through-holes allow for bar feeding and special fixture-locating requirements.
If you need a 5-axis solution for your 3-axis mill, look to the Haas dual-axis rotary tables and indexers for a simple bolt-on solution for machining complex parts. These dual-axis rotaries bolt directly to the mill's table to provide 5-axis simultaneous motion, or position parts to nearly any angle for multi-sided 3+2 machining.
