Tailstocks

When those extra-long workpieces need stabilizing, there's a tailstock for every Haas rotary product. Available in pneumatic or manual operation, with center heights ranging from 4" (for the HA5C) to 14.5" (HRT-600).

Every mounting surface on a Haas tailstock is accurately ground, and bottom alignment pins provide fast setup without indicating. The spindle is individually fitted to the bore to minimize deflection.

All tailstocks are Morse taper number 3. Live centers are recommended (but not included).

Chucks & Faceplates
Three-jaw chucks for Haas rotary products have excellent accuracy and concentricity. Where required, all accompanying hardware is supplied by Haas. Eight-inch models for the HRT A6 and HRT 210 can be mounted in minutes, and the 5" chuck for the HA5C indexer simply threads onto the spindle nose.
Optional faceplates for the HRT A6 will accommodate your specific fixtures and parts. Faceplates are also easy to mount – the recess on the back just slips over the A1-6 platter and is bolted down.

Air Collet Closers

Three types of collet closers are available from Haas for use on HA5C indexing heads. Air collet closers provide greater holding force – as well as reducing operator fatigue – when compared to standard manual closers.

QuikChange System
The Haas QuikChange System is a productivity booster that can be added to the HRT-210 or HRT-A6 rotary table. Fixture cubes or plates are loaded / released by a pneumatic actuator. Change from cube to cube or plate to plate in less than 5 seconds. All four surfaces and be machined in one load/unload cycle, and a second cube or plate can be loaded with parts while the first is being machined.

Interface Cables
Each interface cable assembly is built and tested at Haas' state-of-the-art production facility. These cables feature manual and M-function interfaces, and will connect any Haas rotary product to most CNC and manual machine tools. Built by Haas means superior build quality – as well as convenient to use.
