These rules apply to TM-1/2/3 X and Y-axis
If you have a press fit bearing or slip fit bearing and a gap, you torque to 4 in-lbs.
If you have a slip fit bearing and no gap, you torque to 10 ft-lbs.
If you have a slip fit bearing and a gap, and it's a TM-2 Y-axis,you can add a 51-0295 spacer to close the gap torque to 10 ft-lbs. This cant be done for TM-1/2/3 X-axis because spacers don’t exist to close the X-axis gap.
NOTE: Turn the ballscrew. If it feels very difficult to turn you have torqued to 10 in-lb. Break loose the locknut and torque to 4 in-lbs.
