25.2 Coolant Cart - Installation

Install the swivel caster wheels [1] to the cart using the (4) hex head bolts [2] and washers [3] on each wheel. Tighten the nuts [4] on the back of each bolt.

Slide the platform truck [1] into the holes on both sides of the cart. 

Place the rubber wheel [2] over the platform truck and secure the wheel by inserting the pin [3] into the truck. 

Drop the handle [1] into the base of the cart.

Secure the handle with a socket head cap screw [2] and washer on both sides of the handle. 

Tighten the nuts on the back of each screw.

Bolt the electrical box [1] by installing a FBHCS 1/4-20 [2] and a BHCS [3] to the handle of the cart.

Install the pump [1] to the base of the coolant cart by securing it with (4) flanged button head cap screws [2].

Install the (4) tank support legs [1] to the cart by securing them with a flanged button head cap screw [2].

Drop the 40 gallon tank [1] into the coolant cart.

Place the filter tank [1] onto the cart. Secure the tank with the (3) button head screws [2].

Important: The filter tank must be primed with a bucket of coolant before turning on the pump. Failure to do so will prevent the pump from properly drawing in the coolant.

Remove the copper line [1].

Install a plug [2] to where copper line used to be.

Secure the plate [1] using the (2) flanged button head cap screws [2] through the filter tank bracket [3].

Tighten the strap [1] to secure the tank. Be sure that the strap wraps around the 40 gallon tank and goes through the slot of the plate [2].

If applicable, remove the previous hose connected to the filter tank to install the new vacuum hose.

Install the fitting [1] and connect the vacuum [2] to the fitting. 

Route the electrical power extension cable [2] around the handle as shown, using zip ties [1] to secure the cable. 

Plug the cable into the electrical box.

To prevent leaks, apply Sikaflex to the threads on both sides of the male nipple fitting and install it to the tank fitting.

Install the check valve fitting [1] into the low pressure pipe fitting [2]. Be sure the arrow on the check valve points upwards.

Connect the hose to the valve and install a hose clamp.

To prevent leaks, apply Sikaflex to the threads on both sides of the male nipple fitting and install it to the tank fitting.

Connect the ball valve [2] to the 40 gallon coolant tank [1].

Tighten the low pressure pipe fitting [3] to the ball valve. Be sure that the pipe fitting is aligned properly with the bracket [4].

Note: After installation, run the coolant and check the fittings for any leaks.

Install the hose fitting [1] and washer [2] to the low pressure pipe fitting [3]. 

Connect the hose to the fitting and secure with a hose clamp.

Note: Be sure the washer is in front of the bracket [4].

On the filter tank, connect the fitting [3] to the hose barb fitting [2]. Install the hose [1] and secure with a hose clamp.

Connect the brass hose barb fitting [4] to the pump [5].

Route the hose from the filter tank to the brass hose barb fitting and secure with a hose clamp.
