HRP-1 - Mount Angle Setting - Setup

Mount Angle Setting

1. Connect to the robot with the iPendant and selct Jogging iPendant.

2. Turn the Remote Jog Enable switch ON.

3. Select the FN Function key.

4. Select 0 -- NEXT --

1. Select 8 START MODE

2. Select CTRL (Controlled) Start

3. The iPendant page will then prompt you to Cycle Power the robot. Wait at least 3 minutes before powering on the robot.

4.  Log back into the iPendant and select Jogging iPendant.

1.  Verify that the Tool Setup page displays the correct values and edit if needed, then press ENTER.

  1. Robot No. :    Fxxxxxx
  2. KAREL Prog in select menu:    YES
  3. Remote Device:    UserPanel
  4. Intrinsically safe TP:    NO

2. Select MENU and then select 9 MAINTENANCE.

3. Select MANUAL.

4. Enter 1 and press ENTER.

Important: This step is for Fanuc Robots that are new or have the newest Fanuc software only.

1. Enter the Mount Angle that the robot is mounted and press ENTER.

  • For VF/VM and ST machines the Mount Angle Setting is -30.
  • For UMC and DT/DM machines the Mount Angle Setting is 0.

1. Enter the Mount Angle that the robot is mounted and press ENTER
Note: If this is a new Funuc Robot or has the newest Fanuc software, Mount Angle has already been applied in the previous step.

  • For VF/VM and ST machines the Mount Angle Setting is -30.
  • For UMC and DT/DM machines the Mount Angle Setting is 0.

2. Enter 7 for the Payload setting and press ENTER.

3. Enter 1 for the J1 MOTION RANGE SETTING and press ENTER.

4. Enter 1 for Built-in batteries and press ENTER.

1. Select the Fn key.

2. Select 1 START (COLD).

3. The iPendant page will then prompt you to Cycle Power the robot. Wait at least 3 minutes before powering on the robot.
