Tool Release Piston - Solenoid Service Kit

Introduction

The service part P/N 93-2852; SOLENOID AIR 3PORT 2POS 1 3/8NPT SERVICE is the replacement solenoid assembly for 93-5620 and 32-5620 solenoid valves. The replacement solenoid assemblies use solenoids from both Festo and SMC.

This can create confusion when assembling, since different solenoid manufacturers require different hardware and brackets from the service kit. Some hardware and 3/8" OD tubing may not be used at all. The bracket will also not be used for all applications of the new service kit

Each of the solenoid assemblies have the same cable connectors. Use the fittings from the removed assembly to make the correct configuration for your machine. Refer to the images below:

Reference the solenoid that is already in place and use the pieces in the kit to re-create a suitable replacement.

For machines that do not have a 40T gearbox and TSC:

Plumb the solenoid as shown.  Plug the unused 1/4 NPT ports.

For machines that have a 40T gearbox and TSC:

Plumb the solenoid as shown.  Plug the unused 1/4 NPT ports.
