Number Function Description
1 HMI Touch screen.
2 Emergency Stop Press to engage Emergency Stop. Twist and pull to release Emergency Stop.
3 Cycle Start Press to start the sawing operation.
4 Cycle Stop Press to stop the sawing operation.
5 Sawing Mode Switch Toggle left to enable automatic mode. Toggle right to enable manual mode.
6 Light Switch Toggle 0 to turn off light. Toggle 1 to turn on light.

Manual Mode Interface

To enable Manual Mode, first turn the external knob to the specified icon.

The main page should state Manual Mode [1] at the top of the screen [1].

The menu icons are as follows

  1. Toggle sawblade rotation
  2. Toggle feed table
  3. Front vise clamp
  4. Front vise unclamp
  5. Rear vise clamp
  6. Rear vise unclamp
  7. Retract blade button
  8. Advance blade button
  9. Rear vise forward button
  10. Rear vise backward button

Automatic Mode Interface

To enable Automatic Mode, first turn the external knob to the specified icon.

On the touch screen, press [START] to get to the automatic mode main page as seen in Step #7.

To create a new cutting program, select new materials, or adjust cutting parameters, press [NEW USER GUIDE] on the screen.

Set the blade parameters.

Enter the blade diameter and select the number of blade teeth. 

Selecting [OTHER SAW BLADES] wiill prompt the user for the blade diameter and custom number of teeth.

Select the material shape, material size and material offsets.

Note: When selecting the odd shape icons, the saw will state that special-shaped materials shall be set with manual tool setting, and will require the user to input the cross-secitonal area.

The Material Selection interface will prompt the user to select the material that's being cut. 

Select one of the default values, or select [CUSTOMIZE] to change the material.

The Customize Material interface allows users to input the material name, saw blade linear speed (ft/min), and chip load (in).

The Automatic Mode Main Page will provide the user a brief overview of the program parameters and machine monitoring.

Press the physical [CYCLE START] button to commence automatic sawing.
