Diagnostic Data - NGC

Introduction

This procedure tells you how to see this information:

  • Analog Sensor Data
  • Diagnostic Inputs/Outputs

Diagnostic Data - Analog Sensors

Push [POWER ON].

Push [DIAGNOSTIC] to access the Parameters, Diagnostics and Maintenance display [2].

Navigate to the primary Diagnostics tab [1].

Navigate to the Gauges tab [1].

The screen shows the analog sensor data for the sensors that follow:

  • Air Pressure
  • Coolant Level
  • Tsc Pressure
  • Spindle Motor Temperature
  • Electronics Temperature
  • Vibration
  • Dc Voltage
  • Ac Line Voltage

Diagnostic Data - Input / Output

Push [POWER ON].

Push [DIAGNOSTIC] to go to the Parameters, Diagnostics and Maintenance display [2].

Navigate to the primary Diagnostics tab [1].

Navigate to the I/O tab [1].

The Type column tells you if the item is an INPUT or OUTPUT.

Use the Search function to find applicable inputs or outputs. Type the letters to find, and then push [F1].

This example finds the inputs and outputs that contain the word "GEAR."

The I/O screen shows the inputs or outputs with the word GEAR in them [2].

The machine must be in Service mode to do this step. 

You can change an output Value [1] to 0 or 1 to energize or de-energize the I/O PCB output.

Select the OUTPUT you want to change.

Push the number 1 or 0 and push [ENTER].

This example energizes OUTPUT 32 GEAR_BOX_TO_HIGH_GEAR [3].

 Note: This example automatically energizes INPUT VALUE for GEARBOX_HIGH_GEAR [2].

 

Diagnostic Data - CAN PCB I/O

Follow these steps to find the inputs and outputs for the various CAN PCBs:

  • Press the [DIAGNOSTIC] button to and navigate to the I/O tab [1] from under the Diagnostic tab.
  • Search ADPCB [2] to find inputs and outputs for the Autodoor PCB.
  • Search EVPCB [3] to find inputs and outputs for the E-Vise PCB.
  • Search LPPCB [4] to find the inputs amd outputs for the Lube Panel PCB.
  • Search SPHD [5] to find the inputs and outputs for the Spindle Head PCB.
