The purpose of this reference document is to outline which motor mount cover is compatible with the various VMC X & Y-Axis servo motor mounts.  Refer to the Servo Motor Mount Cover - Replacement procedure for instruction. These covers should be installed whenever there is a motor replacement due to coolant intrusion.

Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

To replace the motor cover on  X & Y-Axis motors on DM/DT Machines using motor mount 20-8056, order  93-3826 BSCREW 32MM MTR CVR SVC KIT DT X/Y-AX

 Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

To replace the motor cover on  X-Axis motors on VF-1/2 machines using motor mount 20-8056, order  93-3828 BSCREW 32MM MTR CVR SVC KIT S VF X-AX

To replace the motor cover on  Y-Axis motors on VF-1/2 machines using motor mount 20-8056, order  93-3827 BSCREW 32MM MTR CVR SVC KIT S VF Y-AX.

 Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

To replace the motor cover on Medium VF & Large-VF/VR X-Axis with Motor Cables Pointing Down using motor mount 20-151B, order  93-4767 BSCREW 40/50MM MTR CVR M VF X-AX.

 Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

To replace the motor cover on Medium VF & Large-VF/VR X-Axis with Motor Cables Pointing Down using motor mount 20-10535, order 93-4768 BSCREW 40/50MM MTR CVR M VF X-AX.

 Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

To replace the motor cover on Large VF/VR machines with X & Y-Axis motor cables pointing to the side using motor mount 20-0151B, order 93-4769 BSCREW 40/50MM MTR CVR SIDE EXT L VF.

 Warning: Not all motor mounts have a compatible cover. Confirm that the motor mount part number matches the cover before ordering. 

 Important: These covers may also be used on the Y-Axis of older Medium VF machines that have Mistubishi brand servo motors.

To replace the motor cover on medium VF Y-Axis  & large VF/VR X & Y-Axis  motors with cables pointing to the side using motor mount 20-10535, order 93-4770 BSCREW 40/50MM MTR CVR L VF X-AX.

Important: These covers will only work on Medium VF machines with Yaskawa brand Y-Axis motors. Do not use with Mitsubishi motors.
