Rotate the PR axis to gain access to the front of the PS axis ballscrew.

Remove the bolts from the front [1] and the back [2] of the PS ballscrew cover [3].

Remove the PS ballscrew cover.

Rotate the PS axis to gain access to the slots [1] on the bottom of the PS saddle.

Jog the PS axis to align the PS ballnut housing mounting bolts with the slots [1].

Use an extention with the  SAE 5/16 hex bit to reach through the slots [1] and remove four bolts that fasten the PS ballnut housing to the underside of the PS ram.   

Remove eight bolts [1].

Remove the ram cover [2].

Renove the lifting eye bolt [3] along with it's mounting hardware.

NOTE: Use the hforklift or other lifting device to lift the ram assembly [1] during this step.

Support the weight of the ram [1] with the lifting device.

Remove the sixteen bolts that secure tha ram to the PS linear guide trucks.

Remove the ram assembly.

Remove the cover plate [1].

Disconnect the cables [2] from PS axis servo motor and the home sensor.

Pull the cables [2] down through the center lift/rotate cylinder assembly.  

Loose the four bolts that secure the PR axis gearbox [2] to the Pallet Pool base and slide the gearbox away from the PR drive gear.

Remove the center lift UP sensor [3].

Remove the center lift DOWN sensor [4].

Remove the PR axis home sensor [5] and the mounting bracket [6].

Remove the PR axis home sensor trip flag [7].

Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the center lift cylinder and remove the fittings [8].

Remove the six bolts [1] that secure the PR drive gear [2] to the bottom of the center lift/rotate cylinder [3]

 NOTE: Use the forklift or other lifting device to lift the saddle assembly [1] during this step.

Remove the six bolts [2] that secure the PS saddle to the center lift/rotate cylinder [3].

Remove the saddle. 

Remove two bolts [1] and remove the PR axis hard stop [2].

Remove the remaining six bots [3] that secure the center lift cylinder.

Install two 1-1/2X13 eye bolts [1] into the pallet pool saddle mounting holes.

Use the hoist or the forklift and pull the center lift cylinder assembly [2] out of teh pallet pool base.
