TL-1/2 - Door Wheel Replacement

Introduction

This procedure tells you how to replace the door wheels in the field.

Installation

Open the doors to get access to the v-rollers screws. Remove the inner and outer v-roller screws [1].

Note: To ease the door alignment mark the location of the screws [2].

Loosen the screw [2] to lower the v-rollers from the track.

Remove door lock switch cover [1].

Remove the air lines from the door air cylinders [2].

Remove the door brace to remove the doors.

Remove the wheel assembly [1] and install the new one.

Note: The wheel assembly is not concentric [2]. Make sure to install the new wheel assembly in the same orientation.

Set the doors in place.

Install the door header parallel to the front rail.

Close the doors.

Pull up on the v-rollers [1] while tightening.

Note: When tightening the v-rollers, make sure to hold on to the bracket tab with pliers, otherwise v-rollers [2] may move away from the rail.

Open and close the doors and make sure that the doors open and close smoothly.

: The outer v-rollers on the doors [1] have slots to allow for pitch adjustment. Adjust as needed.

Make sure the doors trigger the door close proximity sensors [2].

Install the switch cover.
