January 05, 2018 20000 Alarm Messages

The 20000 alarms are informational messages only. These are usually generated at power up and only show in the alarm history. This information is used by our software developers for debugging purposes. This is an informational message only; no parts need to be replaced. They typically do not require any service action. The exception is with the SD Memory Card Failure messages. This indicates that the machine has the extended memory option but the SD portion of the processor is not operating correctly. 

It will be common when updating Pre-2018 machines to new software for a 20003 No Sound Card Was Detected messaged/alarm to be generated at power up in the alarm history. New controls are equipped with audio components for use with the machine videos. The new software will check if the components are installed at power up. No service action is to be taken for this message.

YD Recovery

This message appears in the alarm history because the control detected the WYE/DELTA contactor feedback states to be incorrect but not long enough to generate alarm 4.9973. Check all the WYE / DELTA terminal connections make sure they have a tight connection. Check the transformer taps to be in the correct location. Find out if these messages occur during heavy cuts. Do not replace any parts, if these messages continue to occur generate an error report and email it to Haas Service.
