This chapter provides information on what maintenance is needed for the Haas Sheet Router.

This procedure will demonstrate the location and application of grease to the motor racks of the SR-3015.

Note : Rack covers have been hidden in the illustrations shown in this procedure for clarity but do not need to be removed for grease application.

Note : There are 2 racks for the Y-axis and only 1 for the X-axis

This procedure will demonstrate how to remove excess lubricant that drips down the Z-axis linear guides into a catch tray.

Remove the thumb screws [1] on the sides then slide the drip tray [2] downwards. Clean the drip tray then reinstall it back into place.

Note : When installing the drip tray ensure that it is underneath the machine sheet metal [3].

This procedure will show how to install the soft start breaker for your SR-P machine.

SR-P machines that are having vacuum pump or soft starter issues and did not come with the soft start breaker installed on the machine are recommended to order the following the service kit. This kit is also a one to one replacement for SR-P machines that need to replace their soft start breaker:

This procedure applies to the following service kit:

• 93-5828 SR-P VACUUM PUMP BRKR KIT

Disconnect and remove the original din rail and soft starter from the electrical cabinet. 

Install the new five inch din rail [1] onto the sub-spindle servo amp fan bracket assembly using the two provided PPHS 10-32 screws.[2]

Slide on the first DIN rail end cap [1] onto the DIN rail.

Slide on the soft start breaker [2] from the service kit onto the DIN rail.

Next, slide on the soft start [3] onto the DIN rail next to the soft start breaker. 

Finally, slide on the second DIN rail end cap [4] onto the DIN rail to secure the breakers and softer starter.

Connect cable 33-1595 T1/T2/T3 K1-SS [1] from the M1 contactor to the soft start breaker.

Connect cable 33-1618 SR SS TO BRKR CBL 2FT [2] from the soft start breaker to the soft starter.

This procedure will show you how to open the cable carrier cover links for the SR machines. 

Use a small flat head screwdriver to push in through the right hole slot on the cable carrier cover link and pry up lightly on that side as shown in the picture.

On the left side of the cover, using the same technique, use the flat head screwdriver to lightly pry up the cover.

The cover link should look like this after prying up on both sides.

Lightly pull up on to the pried up side of the cable carrier cover link and slide it out of the cable carrier.

Repeat the steps above to take off as many cable carrier cover links as needed. 

The cable carrier link covers need to put back into the cable carrier in the correct orrientation.

The curved portion of the cable cover link cover needs to be tucked under the cover link that comes before it. 

The clips on the cover link should line up with the extrudes on the cable carrier link.

Once they are lined up, push the link cover back into place.
