Remove the (14) machine screws [1] that attach the Spindle Head Front Vent Cover [2] and the Wipers [3] to the Ram.

Remove the Spindle Head Front Vent Cover [2].

Remove the Wipers [3].

Loosen the (2) set screws [1] in the Flood Coolant Valve Cover [2].

Remove the Flood Coolant Valve Cover [2] and Gasket [3].

Remove the (10) machine screws [1] that attach the Spindle Head Cover [4] to the Spindle Head.

Remove and discard the Spindle Head Cover [5] 

Remove the (2) machine screws [1] that attach the Wiring Harness [2] to the Mounting Bracket [6].  Do not unplug the female side of the cables from the wiring harness or remove the Wiring Harness from the Spindle Head.

Remove the (2) machine screws [3] that attach the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold [4] to the Mounting Bracket [6].  Disconect all hoses and cables from the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold [4].

Unplug the Axial Spindle Fan [2].

Remove the (2) machine screws [1] that attach the Axial Spindle Fan [2] to the Spindle Head.

Lift the Axial Spindle Fan [2] up and rotate it 45º.  Lower it into the Spindle Head.

Remove and discard the Axial Spindle Fan [2].

Remove the (8) machine screws from the Mounting Bracket [2].  Remove and discard the Mounting Bracket [2].

Disconnect the Spindle Motor Power Cables from the Spindle Motor Terminal Block [1].

 Note: Record the position of each wire in the terminal block.

Disconnect the Flood Coolant Hose from the Flood Coolant Valve [2].

Pull the disconnected cables and hoses back to the ram cable carrier so they are entirely free of the spindle head.

Pull out 8-12'' of slack in the power cables from the back of the machine.  Jog the machines in all axes to make sure the power cable is not being pulled taught.

Install the new Mounting Bracket [1] using the (7) machine screws [2].

Connect the Tool Air Blast Extension Hose [1] to the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold.

Connect the Through Spindle Coolant Extension Hose [2] to the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold.

Route the Through Spindle Coolant pressure sensor cable [3] through the rubber grommet.

Install the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold onto the Spindle Blower Assembly using the (2) machine screws [4].

Install the Rubber Isolators [1], Spindle Blower Assembly [2] and Nut [3].

Plug the Spindle Blower Power Cable into the Spindle Fan plug on the Wiring Harness.

Connect the Through Spindle Coolant Extension Hose to the Through Spindle Coolant Hose.

Connect the Tool Air Blast Extension Hose to the Tool Air Blast Hose.

Reconect the remaining hoses and cables to the Through Spindle Coolant Manifold.

Install the Flood Coolant Extension Hose [1] onto the Flood Coolant Valve.

Reinstall the Spindle Motor Power Cables onto the Spindle Motor Terminal Block.

Route the Flood Coolant Hose and Spindle Motor Power Cables [2] through the cable carriers on the mounting bracket as shown.

Install the Sponge Seal into the rubber grommet around the cable/hose bundle.

Install the Wiring Harness [1] onto the Mounting Bracket using the (2) machine screws [2].

Cut rectangles of Peel and Seal and use them to cover all the holes in the Spindle Head except for the (3) closest to the bottom.

Note: When applying Peal and Seal to the front (2) holes form the Peal and Seal around the Flood Coolant Hose / Spindle Motor Cables to be as airtight as possible.

On the Spindle Head Cover,  drill out the rivets that hold the inner shroud.

Remove the inner shroud from the Spindle Head Cover.

Add rivets back into the empty holes.

Install the Spindle Head cover.

Reinstall the Spindle Head Front Vent Cover, Wipers, and Flood Coolant Valve Cover assembly.
