Debris in the oil/coolant separator can cause it to clog. This makes coolant overflow from the rear of the casting. This procedure tells you how to clean the parts inside the oil/coolant separator. Always wear proper eye protection when performing maintenance.
Push [EMERGENCY STOP] when you do maintenance on the machine.
Disconnect the coolant return hose  and coolant drain hose . Remove the oil separator  from the oil separator tray . Remove the (13) screws . Remove the oil separator  from the oil separator tray .
Clean and remove all chips from the removed parts. Clean the input pipe  and coolant drain pipe .
Install the parts in the opposite order they were removed. Before you connect the coolant drain hose  or the return hose , pour coolant into the fitting for the coolant return hose  to prime the oil/coolant separator. Continue to install the parts in the opposite order they were removed.
Use the bubble indicator  to make sure the oil/coolant separator is level. If it is not level, loosen the (2) SHCS  and adjust the oil/coolant separator position until it is level. Tighten the (2) SHCS . Clean any spilled coolant from the floor.
