SPINDLES

ST Series high-performance spindles use a robust bearing arrangement that is 20% stiffer than on previous models, with 50% less thermal expansion. To ensure long-term reliability and simplified service, spindle bearings are lubricated automatically by a proprietary minimal lubrication system. All Haas spindles are designed and built in-house at our Southern California manufacturing facility.

TURRETS & LIVE TOOLING

Customize your Haas lathe with a variety of turrets, including our BMT65 turret with 4000-rpm live tooling. For additional capacity, our optional half-index BMT65 turret provides 24 stations – 12 with live tool capability.

MULTI-AXIS MACHINING

Adding additional axis motion to a lathe is the fastest way to boost throughput, increase accuracy, and reduce part handling. With Y axis, C axis, and live tooling, you can machine parts complete in a single setup. HAAS ST-30LY TURNING STEEL

The Haas ST-10Y is a small-footprint Y-axis turning center that provides 4" of Y-axis travel (±2" from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping, and comes standard with high-torque live tooling and a servo-driven C axis for versatile 4-axis capability.

Haas VS-3 Machining ST-30 Base Castings

There's lots of anticipation for Haas' new VS-3 large frame VMCs. But the fact is, we've been making the VS-3 for quite awhile now. Check out this footage from one of our VS-3 cells where we've been machining ST-30 base castings for years . Most of these cells get a helping hand from Midaco pallet changers to keep the spindle turning, while loading and unloading take place off line.
