Axis Lubrication Cycle
The grease reservoir lubricates the axes at a rate of (1) pump cycle for every 24 hours of axis motion.
Grease moves from the grease-canister through flexible plastic tubing to the main distribution manifold .
Note: For recommended lubricant types, see Lubricant Table for Haas Machine Components.
Grease moves from the main distribution manifold to the axis manifolds .
Note: The amount of axis manifolds may be different on some machines.
Note: Each axis has (2-6) linear guide trucks and (1) ballnut .
Grease moves from the axis manifolds through copper tubes. The copper tubes lubricate the linear guide trucks and ballnut .
