Higen Motors - Installation - CHC

Introduction

This procedure should be referenced when replacing a spindle motor on a CHC machine with a Higen brand spindle motor.

Two parameters will need to changed, Parameter 180 and Parameter 181. Refer to the applicable table below for the new values.

1.5HP Motors

The table below applies to Higen Motor PN 62-0149 on CM and OM machines.

This applies to the following kits:

          93-20021B, 93-30-11585A, 93-30-13658, 93-30-30229C

Change parameters 180 and 181 to the following values:

5HP 100V Motors

The following table applies to Higen Motors PN 62-0134 on DT/DM machines.

This applies to the following kits:

          93-30-13543, 93-30-13544, 93-3728, 93-3729, 93-3730, 93-3731, 93-3732, 93-3738, 93-3739

Change parameters 180 and 181 to the following values:

This applies to the following kits:

Change parameters 180 and 181 to the following values:

Example for Parameter 180:

Parameter 180 = 500 * (Parameter 183 / 26667)

So if Parameter 183 on the machine = 25000, Parameter 180 for Higen = 468.74, so round up to 469.

10HP Motors

The following table applies to Higen Motor PN 62-0136 on Lathe and VF. machines.

This applies to the following kits:

          93-30-13377

Change parameters 180 and 181 to the following values:

Example for Parameter 180:

Parameter 180 = 115 * (Parameter 183 / 26667)

So if Parameter 183 on the machine = 25000, Parameter 180 for Higen = 107.81, so round up to 108.

20HP Motors

The table below applies to Higen Motor PN 62-0146 on 50T Gearboxes and HS machines.

This applies to the following kits:

          93-30-11806C, 93-30-13611, 93-30-3602A, 93-30-9743B, 93-30-9744C

Change parameters 180 and 181 to the following values:

Example for Parameter 180:

Parameter 180 = 180 * (Parameter 183 / 26667) 

So if Parameter 183 on the machine = 25000, Parameter 180 for Higen = 168.74, so round up to 169.

30HP Motors

The following table applies to Higen Motor PN 93-62-0151 on Lathe XP Options.

This applies to the following kits:

          93-3734, 93-3735, 93-30-13780
