Collaborative Community of World-Class CNC Educators, Focused on Leading-Edge, Industry-Relevant Equipment and Technology
For more than a decade, Haas Automation and Haas Factory Outlets across the globe have worked with local secondary, post-secondary, career, and training centers to host Haas Technical Education Community (HTEC) conferences throughout North America and Europe.
These conferences provide opportunities to gain insight into best practices for teaching CNC machining, CAD, CAM, simulation, automation, metrology, and related technologies from your peers, industry experts, and leading partners. It’s time we break down the barriers in the modern advanced manufacturing lab and classroom, and start kicking some axes.
“It is an honor to be a part of the Haas Technical Education Community and a blessing to be able to connect with so many talented and committed educators. Whether collaborating with my peers annually at conferences or drawing help from the network of instructors, I find HTEC to be the single best organization for CNC education.“
Recorded, on-demand content from the 2021 HTEC Virtual Conference is available through December 31, 2021. Take advantage before it’s gone. We hope to see you in-person next year in Tennessee.
In 2022, HTEC is taking it to the next axis! Come join partners and peers to take a deep dive into best practices for teaching 4th-, 5th-, and Y-axis machining for beginners and beyond. This year’s host is the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro. We’ll be gathering at the Smyrna Campus and Nissan Training Center.
In 2001, the Haas Technical Education Community established a Member Council (the HTEC Council) that would work collectively with a hosting school and Haas Automation to organize and realize an annual CNC Educators Conference that would be second to none in the industry.
The success of each year’s conference can be widely attributed to the members of both the elected HTEC Council(s) and their designated host team members who, alongside Haas Automation, ensured the needs of their peers were met each year, enabling continuous growth.
