Our multi-stage coolant pump uses a series of stacked impellers to provide more flow and higher pressure than the single-stage coolant pump, while offering much quieter operation.

• Quieter than the single-stage pump
• Built-in filter screen on the pickup tube
• 1.5 hp (1.1 kW) pump
• Higher flow and pressure

Power off the machine. 

Disconnect power cord and coolant hose from old coolant pump. Remove coolant pump. 

Note: Do not discard coolant hose. It will be re-used for the multi-stage pump. 

Install multi-stage pump. 

Re-connect coolant hose [1]. Connect coolant pump power cable to plug labeled 'Low Pressure Coolant' [2].

Unbolt pump from pump stand. 

Loosen the bolts [1] and remove the fan cover. 

Use a flathead screwdriver or other method to pry the fan off of the motor [1]. 

Loosen the nuts [1] and remove the clamps holding the stages in place. 

Loosen the retaining nut on the bottom of the pump shaft. Disassemble the pump stages. Keep track of the order that the impellers, spacers, and covers were removed.

 Note: These stages will need to be replaced in the correct order after the gasket replacement is complete. 

Remove broken gasket. Wipe gasket seat to remove any coolant or debris [1]. Replace the gasket on gasket seat. Re-install the pump stages, taking care to replace all components in the correct order. 

Re-assemble pump and run coolant to ensure leaking is resolved. 

This procedure describes how to install a ball valve onto the coolant separator to allow manual control of coolant flow.

This procedure applies to the following kits :

• 93-6528 COOLANT PUMP VALVE SVC KIT

Important : Make sure to depressurize the coolant system by using the washgun after turning off the machine before installation.

Release hose clamp [1] and remove coolant hose [2].

Remove cap [3].

Remove Barbed fitting [4] from coolant bypass valve.

Install the ball valve [1] onto bypass valve.

Reinstall barbed fitting [2] onto ball valve.

Install cap onto barbed fitting [3].

Important : Ensure the concave face of the hose cap [3] points toward the hose. Refer to the image.

Reinstall the hose and verify that the cap is facing the correct direction.

Slip the hose clamp [2] onto the hose near the end.

Install the hose onto the barbed fitting.

Crimp hose clamp using a crimping tool.

Lightly tug onto hose to verify a secure connection.

Turn on machine and run coolant through hose to verify there are no leaks.

Note : May need to cut hose to compensate for added length due to the addition of the ball valve. 

Note : The following procedure pertains to the DC-Series machines. The use of the cap and hose clamp will not be used in this procedure.

Important : Make sure to depressurize the coolant system by using the washgun after turning off the machine before installation.

Remove elbow and coolant hose adapter fittings [1] from coolant bypass valve.

Note : Fittings [1] comes with two peices, do not seperate them.

Install the ball valve [1] onto bypass valve.

Reinstall fitting [2] onto ball valve.

Install hose to fitting [2]. 

Lightly tug onto hose to verify connection.

Turn on machine and run coolant through hose to verify there are no leaks.

Note : May need to cut hose to compensate for added length due to the addition of the ball valve.
