NGC software version 100.22.000.1014 has been released and is available for download from the Haas Business Center. To get to the software folders go to:  >Service Tab> Documents and Software > Control Software > Next Generation Control >NGC_Software

This software release also includes the fixes from software versions 100.22.000.1010, 100.22.000.1011, 100.22.000.1012, and 100.22.000.1013.

100.22.000.1010 New Features:

• FPGA Replacement (C7 Software support) - Added support to software updater for Intel C7 FPGA and 16MB EEPROM hardware. (TP# 56810)
• HSD motor performance evaluation - Enhanced the accuracy of phase alignment algorithm for PMSM (TP# 62432)
• Allow open loop sweep in level 1 access - Changed Open Loop Sweep to be accessible with level 1 security keys. (TP# 62644)
• Add option to recover FPGA info from Update - Added an option "Recover Board Information" to Software Updater menu when running in Recovery Mode (booting with 'E' key held down) from USB stick. (TP# 63872)

100.22.000.1010 Corrections:  

• Lathe - ST30 subspindle inconsistent orient - On machines with spindle home switch; If the home switch happens to be located right in the middle of 2 Z pulses and after boot up the spindle is commanded to turn with high RPM there's a chance that the z pulse referenced for orient to inconsistent resulting in inconsistent orient. (TP# 52705)
• TEMPLATE: VPS OD and ID Groove does not output a radius R value to program - The lathe VPS templates for ID and OD grooving have a place to add an edge break. However, there was an issue such that the template would always output a value of zero instead of what the user provided. This has been corrected and the templates will now output the correct values. (TP# 53944)
• Unable to zero return acme + servo tailstock - Added support for Servo TS with zero return method 6, 9 (TP# 62136)
• TableTop: E-stop alarm can't be cleared - Fixed Bug that prevented RESET button from clearing Alarms on Tabletop. (TP# 62248)
• G199 can result in an 650 overvoltage alarm - On a dual spindle lathe; Before activating spindle synchronization (G199), if the primary spindle is running at a speed that is higher than the follower spindle speed limit during the sync process the primary spindle will experience high jerk in attempt of limiting itself to the follower limit which has the potential to generate a 9920 Alarm. Issue has been fixed. (TP# 62335)
• SHIFT-F3 popup takes unreasonably long time to come up - Changed error report popup to reduce time before popup appears after pressing Shift + F3. (TP# 62599)
• The machine will continue to run with the door open when the Cell Safe stops - Fixed an issue affecting machines without autodoor feature enabled that would cause machine axes to not feedhold when Cell Safe signal is lost while operator door is open. (TP# 62635)
• X and Y move simultaneously in Jog mode on GM-2 - Feed Hold in the middle of linear rapid (Setting 335 != 0) that includes more than one axis in its vector thenjogging one of vector axes will cause all vector axes to move. Issue has been Fixed. (TP# 62645)
• Changing parameters can lead to false home switch detection - Corrected a software issue that it could falsely detect home switches for those machines with spindle using home switches. (TP# 63761)
• TEMPLATE: VPS - Chip Fan - 154.06 Work offset input not working correctly - Previously, the VPS template for the Chip Fan would only work for offsets G54-59. It would output incorrect data for G154 Pxx and would generate and alarm. This has been corrected and you can now use any of the G154 work offsets. (TP# 63884)
• 9989.001 C AXIS FAILED TO ENGAGE after completing a program - On some lathe with Spindle C Axis, Using G28 on the C axis while Setting 108 is enabled can cause C Axis mispositions and engagement failures. Issue has been fixed. (TP# 63969)
• Tool Max Speed set to door open max speed limit when Estop is pressed - When the Estop is pressed, or the door is left open, setting a max tool speed in the tool info tab correctly sets the input value with a maximum value of the maximum purchased speed. (TP# 64034)
• VMT Sim Non-Resettable 9100.017 Alarm - Since software release 100.22.000.1000, it was possible for alarm 9100.017 NON RESETTABLE SYSTEM ERROR to be generated when rapidly switching between HANDJOG mode, MEM/MDI mode, and TCPC HANDJOG mode after enabling TCPC HANDJOG on machines such as VMT. This issue has been fixed. (TP# 64053)
• VF2 PP - Pressing the LS ready button (Input 20) causes the spindle to slow down when the LS inner door opens - Issue existing in 100.22.000.1000 for VF2 with Pallet Pool where opening the load station inner door while spindle was moving, would stop the spindle. This has been corrected so that machine can continue to operate while load station inner door is open, as long as all machine doors are closed. (TP# 64116)

100.22.000.1011 Corrections:

• Axis Does Not Stop Immediately when Switching to Another Axis while Jogging - Only effects machines with software release 100.22.000.1000 and later. While crank jogging an axis, if axis selection is changed the reminder of the motion from the first jogging axis would be affected by rapid override. Hence while the total distance traveled would not change, this would present to end user as creeping motion. This issue has been corrected. (TP# 64282)

100.22.000.1012 Corrections:

• B and C axes Disabled After ZSTORM Update - Previously on software branch REL-100.22.000.10XX there was an issue with Lathe configurations losing their B or C axis after getting latest parameters. This was due to a configuration file incorrectly disabling the A, B and C axes because the system thought they did not need to be configured. (TP# 64347)

100.22.000.1013 Corrections:

• Lathe- G71 Roughing Cycle Rapids into Stock - Fixed an issue with the G71 roughing cycle where it could rapid directly into un-roughed stock. This could lead to tool breakage. This issue is only on the REL-100.22.000.10XX line. (TP# 65554)
• Dynamic Autodoor Alarm Numbers are Missing in Alarm History After Power Cycle - Previously, in releases 100.22.000.1000 through 100.22.000.1012, if any of the following Autodoor alarms were triggered, power cycling would result in their alarm number not appearing in the Alarm History tab. This issue is now fixed in 100.22.000.1013. (TP# 65592)

100.22.000.1014 Corrections:

• Torque mode not working in customer mode - new mocon tailstock - An issue has been found on lathes with servo driven tailstocks. These machines may not properly recognize when the tailstock contacts the part. This leads to 6.437 Undershoot alarms, and potentially 6.994 Amplifier Overload alarms. This issue has been corrected. (TP# 65785)

Important: This software version is not compatible with Desktop Mills and Desktop Lathes.
