This procedure tells you how to change a machine with HPC-300/TSC-300 to use HPC-1000/TSC-1000. The HPC/TSC-1000-psi coolant system is an independent assembly. This assembly includes a high-pressure pump and an auxiliary filter. The HPC-1000/TSC-1000 must have external power. The customer must supply sufficient power for the system.
The machine must be 50/60Hz.
The machine must have TSC-300 installed.
The machine must have twist-lock connectors on the coolant connector panel.
Required power: The CNC control does not provide power to the pump motor. The customer must have an external power supply to the pump assembly.
Note: To use the HPC/TSC-1000 pump on a 480-volt system, you must replace the NEMA L15-20 connector. Refer to the directions on the side of the motor to rewire the pump motor.

HPC-300 - TSC-300 - Removal
Disconnect the intake hose from the HPC/TSC-300-psi pump motor.
Disconnect the power cable from the twist-lock socket on the connector panel.
Remove the assembly for the HPC/TSC pump-motor from the coolant tank.
Remove the intake hose and the output hose from the coolant filter .
Remove the coolant filter from the filter mounting bracket.
Install the mounting bracket for the coolant hose to the filter mounting bracket.
Connect the intake hose and the output hose to the mounting bracket for the coolant hose.
HPC-1000 - TSC-1000 - Upgrade - Installation
Put the HPC-1000/TSC-1000 unit near the handle of the coolant tank.
Align the unit to make the hose connections point to the rear of the machine.
Put the coolant supply hose through the coolant-tank cover.
Use a radiator clamp to attach the hose to the supply pipe for the TSC filter.
Put the filter drain hose through the coolant-tank cover.
Use the pipe nut to attach the filter drain hose to the coolant-tank cover.
Put the filter assembly into the coolant tank. Put the filter assembly adjacent to the standard coolant pump.
Remove the lid from the auxiliary filter tank.
Fill the tank with coolant.
Put the lid back on the auxiliary filter tank.
Connect the pump control cable to the twist-lock socket marked "AUX COOLANT" on the connector panel.
Connect the pump power cable to an external source .
